Have a break and get those happy endorphins which will last you all day. Whether you want to lose weight, tone up, work on coordination, get physically and mentally active, socialise, have fun and fill your body with happy hormones, or just love to dance, this class is for you! An aerobic dance fitness class featuring different styles from Latin and Commercial to Jive.
Adults Classical Ballet will focus on developing your artistic development and grace whilst introducing technically demanding elements of the art form. This class is aimed at people who have some previous ballet experience or have done some basic ballet classes, but of course beginners are welcome, as we all have to start somewhere. We will continue to expand your knowledge of the Ballet Vocabulary and work on posture, balance, and coordination. Plus, we will start to learn some basic repertoire from all your favourite Ballets like “The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Sleeping and Beauty”.
Develop an understanding of Jazz dance technique. This class will cover all the basics from posture and coordination to musicality and performance. Whether you are a beginner or have experience, you will be able to work at your own level and express yourself through dance.
Our everyday lifestyle can put a lot of stress on our bodies, causing physical imbalances, injuries and bad posture. In this class we focus on muscle endurance and strength, postural alignment, balance, flexibility, core strength and stability using the six Pilates principles: breathing, concentration, centre, control, precision and flow (created by Joseph Pilates). Pilates is also beneficial when incorporated in sports training programs or physical rehabilitation.
Don’t like going to the gym? Try this fun, but effective workout, once you feel the benefits you will never look back. Each class is designed using functional movements that work your whole body. Each exercise uses multiple muscles at once and focuses on core strength and stability. Whether you want to get fit, tone up or to gain strength to help you with everyday activities, this workout is for you.
